Review: Fond de ten Rimmel London Stay Matte (RO+EN)

Se pare ca primele mele impresii legate de primavara nu au fost decat niste iluzii si iata ca nici n-am apucat sa ma bucur de putin soare ca ..a inceput iar sa ninga. As putea sa scriu pagini intregi de ce nu mai vreau iarna, dar am sa trec direct la subiectul postarii. Am zis ca: ce e mai bine pe vremea asta, decat sa stai in fata calculatorului, cu o cana de ce-ti place tie langa, citind despre micile placeri ale femeilor. Asa ca azi am decis sa va scriu despre experienta mea cu fondul de ten de la Rimmel London,  Stay matte.

It seems that my first impresions on spring were only ilusions, as I couldn’t even enjoy a little bit the sun and..it has started to snow. I could write pages about why I don’t want winter any more, but I’m gonna go straight to the subject of this article. I was thinking that: what’s better, on this weather, than sitting in the front of the computer, with a big mug of whatever you like, reading about the small pleasure of women. So I decided to write about my experience with Rimmel London Stay Matte foundation.

L-am cumparat dupa ce l-am vazut la randul meu, pe alte bloguri. In mare, parerile mi se pareau pozitive, am fost atrasa de acoperirea mare si am zis sa incerc. Recunosc ca m-am ofticat putin pentru ca l-am luat cu 30 de lei, cand majoritatea fetelor care il cumparasera (fetele ale caror opinii le-am citit) nu dadusera mai mult de 15 lei! Am zis sa risc, ca daca e un fond de ten bun atunci isi merita banii.

I bought it  after I’ve seen it on many other blogs. The opinions were mostly favourable, I was attracted by the high coverage so I thought I could try it. I have to admit, I was a little bit gealous that I’ve spent like 8 $, when other bought it with half a price. I only thought that, if it’s good, then it will worth it.

Descrierea m-a atras si mai mult:
“In sfarsit mat, fara aspect de masca! Fabulos de proaspat, cu o textura lejera, care nu incarca tenul, fondul de ten Stay Matte Liquid Mousse de la Rimmel preia controlul asupra tenului tau, lasandu-l neted si matifiat, fara sa-i confere un aspect incarcat, ca de masca. Textura sa usoara, aerata, incorporeaza beneficiile agentilor de emulsionare, ajutand astfel la intinderea uniforma a fondului de ten, acesta patrunzand in epiderma. De asemenea, Stay Matte Liquid Mousse contine si pudra si alti agenti de matifiere, care nu incarca tenul, lasandu-l catifelat, proaspat, cu un aspect sanatos, acoperind zonele cu probleme ale tenului, in special pe cele care au un luciu neplacut.”

The description was the most attractive:
“A feather light, oil free formula with an airy mousse texture that won’t feel heavy or greasy. Delivers all day shine control and blends flawlessly for a natural looking matte finish. Minimizes the appearance of pores. The weight is over – finally, shine has met its matte.”

Pentru mine a sunat ca fondul de ten perfect. Ce-mi putea dori mai mult decat acoperire fara aspect de masca, textura usoara cara nu incarca si aspect mat? Asa ca l-am cumparat dupa ce am incercat putin pe mana nuanta. Am ajuns acasa bucuroasa de alegere, dar dupa ce l-am folosit pentru prima data, am inceput sa am ceva regrete.

For me, it sounded like the perfect foundation. What else would I asked for, more than a high coverage without the mask aspect, a light formule and matte aspect? So I bought it, after I tried it  a little on my hand. I arrived home happy for my choice, but after I tried it for the first time, I stareted to have some regrets.

• Am sa incep cu dezavantajele:
  Se intinde greu. L-am intins cu degetele, cu pensula nici nu vreau sa ma gandesc cum ar fi. da, are aspect mat si intra in piele, dar chiar e greu de intins. E primul fond de ten spuma pe care il incerc, nu stiu daca asta ar fi problema, imi place textura sa, dar aplicare  e o problema.
  I’m gonna start with the disadvantages;
  It’s hard to spread it on my face. I tried with my fingers, I don’t even wanna imagine how would be with a brush. That’s the first foundation with mousse aspect I’m trying, I’m not sure if that’s the problem, I like the texture, but the applying is a problem.
  
• Nunata. Sau nuantele. Sunt 6, daca ai ghinion, in magazine gasesti si mai putine. Eu am 100 Ivory, cea mai deschisa, dar pentru  mine s-a dovedit a fi putin ..inchisa.
  The colour. Or the colours. There are 6. I choosed the first one, 100-Ivory, but it is too..dark for me.
• SISTEMUL DE DOZARE! Da, atat de mult ma deranjeaza. Sa iti cumperi un fond de ten intr-un tub nu e o idee buna! Iese greu, neuniform, ramane mult produs dupa ‘terminare’..nimic eficient.
  THE DOSAGE SYSTEM! Yes, that’s how much I hate it. Buying a foundation in a tube it’s the worst possible idea! It ‘s hard to get it out and a lot of product remain after ‘the termination’.. nothing efficient.

Partile pro ar fi, asa cum am mai precizat, acoperirea medie, chiar mare as spune. Aspectul final e mat, nu ca o masca, desi sincer parca nu ofera aspectul ala de ten de portelan.

Talking about the ‘for’ side, I love the medium-high coverage. The final aspect is matte, not like a mask, but I honestlly don’t think it gives that porcelain-skin aspect.
Aa si ingredientele. Din cate am citit eu, nu am gasit si parabeni, deci e un mare plus.
Oh and the ingredients too. I didn’t found any parabens in the ingredient list, so that’s a huge plus.

Ca o concluzie, nu pot spune ca nu mi-a placut. Are un aspect frumos, dar cred ca e genul ala de fond de ten pe  care vrei sa  il pastrezi pentru evenimente mai speciale. Doar pentru ca se termina repede…
As  a conclusion, I can’t say I didn’t like it. It has a beautiful aspect, but I think it’s that kind of foundation that you want to  keep for more special events. Only because it finishes fast…
